📢 Big Win for Cross-Border E-Commerce!

On May 28 (U.S. time), a federal court blocked former President Trump’s April 2 “Liberation Day” tariff plan, declaring it invalid. The ruling confirmed that the president cannot impose tariffs without Congress approval.

🧑‍⚖️ The case was filed by the Center for American Liberty on behalf of five small U.S. businesses hurt by the tariffs. Unless the government wins an emergency stay, CBP must stop collecting these tariffs and refund all previously paid duties.

✅ Most importantly, Section 321 is back — goods under $800 can still enter the U.S. duty-free via direct mail.
This is huge news for Chinese cross-border sellers. SHEIN, Temu, and others relying on low-cost, direct shipping can now breathe easier. Exporters regain their pricing edge!

📅 CBP has 10 days to adjust policies and process refunds. Meanwhile, Trump’s team has filed an urgent appeal to delay enforcement — but the legal battle is far from over.

Stay tuned as this unfolds.
